Rae Sremmurd is kicking off the year strong with their debut LP, 'SremmLife,' breaking into the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart.

Not only did the rap duo end up at the fifth spot on the chart, but Swae Lee and Slim Jimmy's album is the only project in the top 10 to be a debut LP. Their effort moved 49,000 units in its first week -- 34,000 of those traditional album sales -- and that's largely due to songs like the Mike WiLL Made-It-produced track, 'No Flex Zone,' 'No Type' and 'Up Like Trump.'

'No Flex Zone' peaked at No. 36 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and inspired numerous remixes featuring Nicki Minaj, Pusha T and Juicy J. 'No Type' was a big Boombox favorite and made our list of 2014's Best Hip-Hop Songs.

In other chart news, Sam Smith's 'In the Lonely Hour' and J. Cole's 'Forest Hills Drive' stay steady at the No. 4 and No. 7 spot, respectively, while Nicki's 'The Pinkprint' slips a bit from the second spot on the chart to No. 3.
