The verbal shots between Lil Wayne and Young Thug continue as a result of the latter's decision to title his new mixtape Carter 6, which has since been changed.

While at a concert in Columbus, Weezy threw what seemed like subliminal shots at Thug despite not mentioning his name. "If there were any other albums that dropped recently, tell em I say, "Suck my d---! Tha Carter V coming soon. Ain't no motherf---ing thing as Carter 6."

This is not the first time Wayne has shown his disdain for Young Thug and his Carter 6 tape. “Y’all let him know I said, “F--- him,” he told a crowd during a performance last week. “To go even further, I want y’all to do me favor, and stop listening to songs of n----s that post naked pictures on their album covers.” The latter being a dig at Thugger's mixtape cover on which he appears nude.

The "Stoner" rapper responded to Wayne's beef with a self-recorded PSA: “I understand that Lil Wayne is frustrated with his career and I feel him on that,” he said. "But this is my idol. I wouldn’t ever in my life swap words with him or beef with him about nothing.”

Thug eventually released his tape under the name Barter 6 amid alleged legal issues as to why he changed the name. “Can’t name the mixtape Carter 6 'cause these f--- ass n----s tryna sue, just like some hoes,” he said on Instagram. “Big ol’ blood, so I’m going Barter 6. On the f---ing way.”

Elsewhere, Weezy just released a new video for his track "Hollyweezy," a song featured on is Sorry 4 the Wait 2 mixtape. According to TMZ, the rapper hooked up with Weedmaps to drop the visual at 4:20 p.m. today in honor of 4/20.
