If you were looking for a war between Lil Wayne and Young Thug regarding the latter's use of Weezy's Carter album series for his own forthcoming mixtape, Carter 6, it looks like you're out of luck. Thugger isn't interested in dissing the "Believe Me" rhymer.

Wayne bashed Thug’s Carter 6 tape during one of his Release Partiez tour stops last night, which was all caught on video. “Y’all let him know I said, “F--- him,” he told the crowd. “To go even further, I want y’all to do me favor, and stop listening to songs of n----s that post naked pictures on their album covers.”

But instead of clapping back at the Sorry 4 the Wait 2 creator, Thugga praised Weezy in self-recorded clip on Instagram. “I understand that Lil Wayne is frustrated with his career and I feel him on that,” he said, empathizing with Tunechi, “But this is my idol. I wouldn’t ever in my life swap words with him or beef with him about nothing."

He closed the video taunting naysayers and instigators. “This is a person I look up too. Ha ha,” he said before sticking his tongue out.

It looks like Young Thug’s Carter 6, which arrives April 17, is coming from a place of flattery as opposed to instigating the ongoing beef between Weezy and Birdman. But do you believe Thug? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
