Kim Kardashian Tries to Keep Kanye West at Home

Is there trouble brewing in KimYe's world? Kanye West and his wife Kim Kardashian have been hard at work building their dream mansion in Hidden Hills, Calif., and now, the reality TV star has apparently expanded the property in hopes of keeping her husband at home.

TMZ shares that Kim wants to outfit the new home with a basketball court and a full music studio for Kanye, so the rapper-producer doesn't have to continue traveling elsewhere to record music. He's spent time overseas in Paris creating new music, which keeps him away from his family.

Kanye's perceived absence from Kim and the Kardashian clan has become something of media fodder since the couple tied the knot in May. The Chicago MC apparently skipped Thanksgiving with Kim and their daughter North to go to Paris, PageSix reports. In 2013, Kim's own stepfather, Bruce Jenner, told 'Extra' that Kanye was barely around during Kim's pregnancy and chose to work on 'Yeezus.' "Actually, I've only met him once," said Bruce. "He's never… he's not around. He was in Paris the whole time writing and he just hasn't been around."

Since the 'Blood on the Leaves' creator is working on new music with Paul McCartney, that home studio could come in handy right about now.
