G-Unit member Kidd Kidd was arrested and taken into custody on Tuesday night (June 29) before his performance at the Best Buy Theater for the XXL Freshman Class concert in New York City.

Right before the "I'm Grown" rapper was supposed to hit the stage, he was stopped at the venue and taken away by police in handcuffs. You can see him being escorted out of the Best Buy Theater above.

Details surrounding the arrest are few and far between, but TMZ reports that police have been on the hunt for the 32-year-old New Orleans rapper since February. Apparently, he "allegedly assaulted and strangled a woman in a domestic dispute."

Despite what happened to Kidd Kidd, the XXL show still had to go on. So 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Young Buck and Tony Yayo performed in his place, which you can watch below.

This isn't the first time Kidd Kidd has found himself in some trouble. The Beauty of Independence rhymer's car was shot at multiple times in 2011, and since he was sitting in the vehicle at the time, he was hit six times, TMZ reports.
