Kid Cudi Plans to Release Two Albums in 2016: ‘Excited to Upgrade Your Minds’
Kid Cudi has a surprise for his fans -- not one, but two albums on the way this year.
Cudder announced the news on Twitter. "So my plan is to release 2 albums this year. One for the summer and another for the fall," read his tweet. "I finished this new one already. Fine tuning now."
According to Cudi, his "creative juices have been flowing violently since January" and he plans to "upgrade your minds." It's unclear what these two projects will be, although Cudi did announce the album, Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin', earlier this year.
He's also been hitting the studio pretty hard. Along with rumors that he's working with Kanye West and Andre 3000, the rhymer shared that Travi$ Scott is also in the mix. “@trvisXX is here," read Cudi's latest tweet. "He’s officially my only feature thus far on the album. Pretty tasty huh? Yeah. Were jammin and sippin. Join us."
As if two albums weren't enough, Cudi also plans to go on two tours as well.
