Kelly Price Sings Theme Songs to ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,’ ‘Aladdin,’ ‘The Jeffersons’ & More [EXCLUSIVE VIDEO]

Kelly Price admits she’s a bit of a couch potato — when time allows. While she’s a busy woman promoting a new album, ‘Sing Pray Love,’ these days, years ago she was a latchkey kid indulging in some of her favorite television sitcoms. One thing that always caught her attention was the theme song for each show.

“I watched a lot of TV. I was a theme song singer, I would make up my own theme songs,” the ‘It’s My Time’ creator tells The Boombox. “I’m a series person too. I just TiVo everything and watch in blocks [of time].”

Since it’s not uncommon for Price to belt out classic show tunes at random moments, having her get on the mic to perform her own renditions seems only right. Take a look as the songstress puts her vocal skills to the test and sings the theme songs to ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,’ ‘DuckTales,’ ‘The Jeffersons’ and ‘Aladdin,’ among others. “Movin’ on up” won’t ever sound the same again.
