It was all good a week ago. But now we have to deliver some bittersweet news. Kanye West’s collaborative sneaker with adidas will not arrive in June as we previously reported.

Sources in the adidas camp have told fashion website High Snobiety that the anticipated Yeezy sneaker will get a look-see by executives first in June before it goes into production.

To wit:

Internal sources have told us now, that in June West will be presenting internally his collection. That means that they are currently working on design and are planning to be finished in June, with the official release actually only planned for Spring 2015. Potentially there will be a first sneaker coming in Fall/Winter 2014, but even that is not confirmed yet. The full collection release is for now realistically planned for January/February 2015."

Honestly, this is not a bad thing. West just left Nike for adidas six months ago. It would be impossible to turn around a viable sneaker in that short amount of time. Plus, sneakerheads can now save their monies so they can cop the new adidas Yeezys or Yeezis in 2015. And we are not mad at that.

What say you? Are you disappointed that the new Yeezy sneakers are not coming out this summer? Talk to us in the comments below.
