Kanye West made a surprise appearance at New York City's Brooklyn Bowl this past weekend, performing with protege CyHi Da Prynce.

The show was part of the Pitchfork-sponsored #Offline Festival and celebrated the third anniversary of DJ A-Trak's record label, Fool's Gold. A-Trak served as Kanye's tour DJ for several years before achieving success as a producer in his own right, so Kanye's presence may not have been entirely unforeseeable.

Kanye emerged during CyHi's performance of their track, 'So Appalled,' rocking his mega-large gold Egyptian medallion, and went on to run through his verse from his prior posse cut, 'Monster,' before launching into several other new tracks, including 'Devil in a New Dress,' 'Power' and 'Runaway.' Although Kanye's highly-anticipated new album, 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy,' doesn't hit stores till November 22, the crowd remarkably knew most of the lyrics to all the new songs.
