President Obama called Kanye West a "jackass" after the rapper took the mic from Taylor Swift in his infamous scene-stealing moment at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. Now we get to find out the reaction from the White House after hearing about the rapper's 2020 presidential bid.

This time, the White House is surprisingly keeping an open mind toward the "Kanye For President" movement. According to the Associated Press, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said he looks "forward to seeing what slogan he chooses to embroider on his campaign hat."

Yeezy dropped the news he was gunning for the presidency during his 13-minute speech while accepting the MTV Video Vanguard Award at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday (Aug. 30).

“And yes, as you probably could have guessed by this moment, I have decided in 2020, to run for president,” The College Dropout creator shouted before leaving the VMAs stage.

Although it's unclear whether West will follow through with his statement, TMZ got Kanye to say what his first decree as the commander of the free world would be: "Free Yeezy sneakers for all."

Fan-made artwork has also been created in support of the G.O.O.D. Music leader's political movement. Someone even snagged KanyeWestForPresident.com and is offering to sell the domain for $85,0000.

There's also pros and cons if the "Bound 2" rapper gets one of the most important seats in the U.S. Pro: "Working with other countries would be called a ‘collabo’ instead of ‘a multinational coalition of the willing.’" Con: "No press access to him unless he’s promoting an agenda (oh wait, that’s happening already)."
