English duo La Roux has taken the world by storm with their angular breed of electronic dance, but they're ready to shy away from the synth-pop dip and into the hip-hop well. Lead singer Elly Jackson recently spoke on the upcoming remix to the hit 'In for the Kill,' claiming that Kanye West, who appears in the new U.S. version of the video, will also contribute vocals to the song's remix.

"I've been doing stuff with him the last couple days," Jackson told MTV. "He did a rap on the second verse. We're going to do two versions where you've got the original, just like it was in the U.K., and then you'll have the Kanye West version, which will be a hyped-up Kanye West kind of feeling to it."

The fiery-haired chanteuse also shared that working with 'Ye kept her on her toes, cranking out new ideas with nary a moment's notice. "He's a very exciting person to be around. He's a special breed of person. He's not quite like anyone I've ever met before," she said. "He's very, very, very creative. He comes up with ideas every five seconds. We've had a very interesting three days. It's a very interesting mix of things."

Aside from the new remix, Kanye will release his fifth album, ' My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy,' on November 22.
