Kanye West is officially back in the swing of things. West, who has been in seclusion for the past several months made his way back into the spotlight at this year's BET Awards. The 33-year-old took the stage to perform his newest single 'Power.' Looking larger than life, West hit the stage solo and performed dramatically standing atop mountain top behind red lighting. Luckily the crowd reception was much better than that of his last awards show appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards where he took the microphone from winner Taylor Swift and declared that Beyonce should have won in her category. The Chicago native has since apologized for the incident and gotten back to making music.

In typical fashion the lyrics to 'Power' are reflective of his last few months out of the spotlight. 'I just needed time alone, with my own thoughts/ Got treasures in my mind but couldn't open up my own vault/ My childlike creativity, purity and honesty/ Is honestly being prodded by these grown thoughts/ Reality is catchin' up with me." Although he has kept mum about the album, it is arguably one of the most anticipated upcoming music releases. 'Good Ass Job' is due in stores this fall.
