Kanye is making another foray into the fashion world after his shaky debut in 2011, this time in menswear. The rapper and new dad is teaming up with Parisian clothing line A.P.C. to design a line of capsule collection due out Jul. 14.

News of a new fashion venture first leaked in the W Magazine feature last month where they alluded to a new  “men’s capsule collection of jeans, T-shirts, and hoodies for a hip French brand, to be unveiled in July.” While taking refuge in Paris Kanye has taken the time to soak in all the city can offer, including its sense of style. It wasn’t long before his own sense of style shifted to include a Parisian edge, mixing his classic urban streetwear with chic Euro pieces. This surely caught the attention of A.P.C. founder/designer Jean Touitou and the rest is history. Kanye’s transition from style maven to designer seems only natural.

News of the designer collaboration became official yesterday when Parisian brand A.P.C. posted a picture showing a pair of jeans with the caption "A.P.C. KANYE CAPSULE COLLECTION, JULY 14. #apc #kanyewest” via Instagram and the company website. Kanye retweeted the news today, only adding to the hype. What can we expect from the denim line? Besides minimal pics of two denim washes currently on the A.P.C. site, one can’t say. Guess we will find out on Jul. 14  (Bastille Day) at 10 a.m.
