Kanye Gives Justin Bieber, Raekwon Collabo Update

Kanye West, Raekwon and Justin Bieber have all teamed up to record a remix to the 16-year-old Canadian pop star’s hit ‘Runaway Love’ after connecting on Twitter.

Though the collaboration began as a simple tweet, yesterday, Kanye excitedly updated his followers to say that Rae was indeed coming studio to record a verse. “Raekwon coming to the studio later 2day,” Kanye wrote, before geeking out. “Who remember the purple tape?! Raekwon album not only changed my life it dictated it and yes I spent my first check on a Cuban link chain.”

Today Kanye has continued to update fans regarding the progress of the remix, tweeting “Finishing @JustinBieber Runaway Love remix too…don’t know when they gonna drop it but Raekwon’s verse is crazy!!!”In typical Chef fashion, Rae stoically confirmed the collab via Twitter as well, writing simply “In the studio yall.”

Check out the original version of ‘Runaway Love’ here.

Justin Bieber and Kanye will be rocking at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards on September 12. Perhaps they’ll perform their ‘Runaway Love’ remix?
