Joey Bada$$ headlined his sold out show at Playstation Theater in New York on Wednesday (Dec. 23). The Brooklyn rhymer was performing a concert in support of his new album, B4.Da.$$, and the hometown fans gave him a very warm welcome.

Joey performed notable tracks from his effort, including “Survival Tactics,” “Christ Conscious” and “Big Dusty” just to name a few. During his set, Joey's good friend A$AP Rocky joined him onstage to perform and the crowd was even more hyped than before. Ironically, the two rappers are teaming up for another show in New York on Jan. 18 to commemorate the life of the late A$AP Yams. For more information about that show head over to terminal5nyc.com.

Earlier, rapper Father took the stage and seemed more like an SNL, Key and Peele parody of today’s hip-hop. G Herbo held it down and spent a lot of time off stage and onstage getting up close and personal with the crowd during his set. Harlem rhymer Smoke DZA also performed earlier on in the night and he brought the Christmas spirit to the stage as he gave away a few pairs of his lightly worn kicks to fans.

Other artists that performed earlier in the evening included rapper Cousin Stizz, Chicago group Hurt Everybody, MobSquad Nard hailing from Florida, Frais, Boobie Lootaveli and  Pat Ron + Ea$e who kicked off the night. They don’t call it the Smokers Club for no reason, the crowd puffed up, lit up, drank up and some even threw up but everyone had a one hell of a night.
