Joey Bada$$ is well on his way to becoming one of hip-hop's best MCs, and now, the Brooklyn rapper is taking up another job as well.

After appearing in PONY's fall 2017 campaign, Bada$$ has now been named the creative director of the brand. Launching his debut collection with PONY at select nationwide stores, Joey worked with the team to concept, design and style the four-piece collection, which features the Pro Era colors.

“We’ve been plotting this for some time now, and the connection was like, ‘Duh.’ ‘Pony’ stands for Product of New York. Here, you have two products of New York," he said back in August, when it was first announced he'd star in the fall campaign. "Pony, to me, is an OG brand, and a lot of people look at my style as an OG style, something that’s been aged and been around for a little time. We immediately identified with the synergy between both brands. This was a no-brainer.”

"For me, I was excited to do this, period," he continued. "When it came to the pieces and the products, we put calculated thought into that too, and I’m also excited for what we produced.”

The initial Pro Era collection is available now, while another piece will be made available in February 2018.

Earlier this year, Joey dropped his sophmore album, All-Amerikkkan Bada$$. The 12-song project includes features from Styles P, J. Cole, ScHoolboy Q, Nyck Caution, Kirk Knight, Meechy Dark and Chronixx.
