In hip-hop, there are some co-signs that don't do much for a rapper's career, and there are others that could make all the difference in the world.

Like President Obama's daughter, Malia, for instance. A photo of the 16-year-old is circulating around the internet and for good reason -- she's wearing a Pro Era T-shirt, giving Joey Bada$$ and the rest of the rap collective a major shout-out and endorsement. The image popped up on Instagram, but where it originated from no one knows.

Looking directly into the camera and seemingly adjusting something in her hair, the pretty teen sports a white tee with a red, black and green Pro Era logo. Her attire suggests that those supporting her should support them and visit their online store, which sells everything from Pro Era bucket hats to smartphone cases.

By the looks of it, the elder first daughter has a penchant for conscious, lyrical rappers, as she was spotted at Lollapalooza last year enjoying Chance the Rapper's set. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, as President Obama also says he enjoys rap, particularly a Jay Z song or two.

It'll be interesting to see how much this endorsement helps out Pro Era, in terms of merchandise and music sales, and whether it will raise the group's overall profile. We'll have to wait and see.
