Future is joining the ranks of rappers who have graced the cover of Rolling Stone.

In the accompanying piece, the "dirty Sprite" drinker gets candid about music, his fall out with Ciara and his distaste for Desiigner, the rhymer who's been criticized for biting his style.

"I never worried about anyone else ... I don't even want his name in the article," he said on the young Brooklyn rapper. As for his ex-fiancee and mother of his youngest child, Future admits that the breakup had him shook up.

"I was scared as s---," he said. "I was one step away from being married, and I feel like I failed publicly in relationships. Then you want to go back to doing music, to what you know. And if the people didn't accept you again, the one thing you feel like you can fall back on, it walked away from you. You feel like it's over."

But luckily he was able to turn that hurt into new tracks per advice from his frequent collaborator, DJ Esco. Ever since then, he's been nonstop. "I want to keep doing what I'm doing and see how far I can go," he said. "See when it stops. See what the end is like. I want to make this moment last as long as I can make it. If I miss a day, I'm afraid I'll miss out on a smash record."

In the end, he made lemonade out of lemons (shoutout to Beyonce!) "I embraced what I thought they was gonna hate about me," he said. "I was gonna turn the hate into love."

Kendrick Lamar, Jay Z, Eminem, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Salt-N-Pepa, 2Pac, Run-D.M.C. and more have also been featured on the cover. Check out the cover above and read the full piece here.
