Fetty Wap appears to be on the mend after being injured in his motorcycle accident last month. Although he’s in good spirits, the rapper still needs to recuperate and therefore has to cancel his U.S. tour.

The “Trap Queen” creator postponed several tour dates as he continues to recover from his injuries. As we previously reported, Fetty Wap broke his leg in three places after he crashed into an oncoming vehicle in his hometown of Paterson, N.J.

The 24-year-old rhymer went on his Twitter page on Friday (Oct. 9) to inform his fans that he has to cancel his tour due to his doctor’s orders.

"Hey Boston zoo, sorry I can't make it to the @jamn945 show on 10/20," he wrote. "Doc says I can't travel that far yet. Hope to see you soon!!"

The New Jersey native isn't resting on his laurels, however, and he's still making new music. To prove it, Fetty Wap shared a new track he recorded with Monty Zoo called "CashGreen." "I'm f---- up but I still could record a lil … so @MONTY1738 said let's give em sunn real quick," he tweeted.

Unfortunately, following the accident, Paterson police hit the rapper with three summonses including one for driving without a license. He also received a few tickets for not having insurance and for failure to produce a vehicle registration card.

Legal struggles aside, Fetty Wap should feel blessed. The "My Way" rhymer earned his first No. 1 album with his self-titled debut effort. The LP moved 129,000 copies last week.
