Dr. Dre’s Portrayal in ‘Surviving Compton’ Gets Heated Fan Reactions on Twitter

Michel’le’s Lifetime movie, Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Michel’le finally aired on Saturday night (Oct. 15) and viewers were horrified by the re-enactments of domestic abuse against the singer by Dr. Dre.

The movie and Dr. Dre became a trending topic on Twitter after the producer was shown abusing the singer at their home, in the studio and even tormenting her while she was sleeping. Some fans were so upset by the violent scenes that fans are planning to boycott Beats by Dre.

Despite legal threats by Dr. and Suge Knight, it looks like Michel'le wasn't afraid to show viewers how it really went down in Compton.

“I allowed him to portray himself in his story the way he wanted to portray himself and he allowed me the opportunity to portray myself in my story. And I think my truth will stand when we get into court if we do,” Michel’le told TMZ Live.
