DMX Fires Business Manager Following Arrest for Unpaid Child Support

DMX is finally handling his financial situation and being proactive with paying his child support. The New York rhymer reportedly fired his business manager after his recent arrest for unpaid child support.

According to TMZ, X blames the business manager for not making sure his ex-wife, Tashera Simmons, was getting her child support checks for their four children. As far as he could tell, he thought that she was getting her payments. Apparently, that wasn't the case.

Last week, the 44-year-old rapper was arrested in his Westchester County, N.Y. home after a warrant was issued. X’s lawyer maintains that DMX has been “setting up events” which will work as the “starting blocks” for him to perform at “larger venues.”

The attorney implored the judge to not put X in jail because he would have to cancel the shows and be unable to generate income. "It would also give him a bad reputation, argued the rapper’s lawyer.

DMX reportedly axed his business manager and is looking for a new accountant to handle his affairs. Good luck with that.

Hopefully, DMX can resolve his child support case by his next hearing, which is scheduled for Nov. 18.
