DMX just can't seem to stay out of trouble. The "X Gon Give it to Ya" rapper was arrested in his Westchester County, N.Y. home on Tuesday (Oct. 27) after failing to pay child support to his ex-wife Tashera Simmons and their four children since July.

A warrant was issued for the It's Dark and Hell is Hot creator in July, but he's been either in jail or trying to , performances to pay the large sum ---- $10,000 a month. According to USA Today, X's lawyer said he's been "setting up events" which will work as the "starting blocks" to "larger venues." However, if he's behind bars, he would have to cancel the performances. That income is the only way to pay the child support balance and subsequent payments. It would also give him a bad reputation, argued the rapper's lawyer.

“All I have is my name and my reputation,” said the 44-year-old, before adding that taking the stage is the "only way I can make a living."

When it came time to decide whether or not he should be released, the "Get it On the Floor" MC made a good point on why he has little chance of running or disappearing. “It’s not like I can hide,” X said before pointing out that he performs at advertised shows -- making his whereabouts always known.

This is hardly the first time DMX has gotten into trouble with the law this year. He was accused of robbery at a Newark gas station in April, then, three months later, he was sentenced to six months in jail for failure to pay a whopping sum of $400,000, also in child support. He was released in September after serving two months.

Hopefully, the New York native can get it together since the residing judge said that if X doesn't "resolve" the case by his next hearing “things will not go well for you.”

His next court appearance is scheduled for Nov. 18.
