CeeLo Green can breathe a sigh of relief now that he's been cleared of sexual assault charges by the Los Angeles County D.A.'s office. The charges stem from an incident in which a woman claims that the rapper-singer slipped a drug in her drink and then had nonconsensual sex with her.

According to TMZ, a source at the D.A.'s office reveals the charges will be dismissed due to a lack of evidence.

As we previously reported, a woman told police that while on a date at a Los Angeles eatery, Green allegedly drugged her drink with ecstasy and then she woke up the next morning naked in his bed.

The 'Voice' judge denied the allegations and suggested that he was the victim in this case.

Green is not off the hook just yet. He still has a drug charge pending. Since the crooner did reference ecstasy during a taped conversation with the alleged victim, the D.A. is bringing forth a drug charge against him.

Law officials believe that the entertainer will be charged with one count of furnishing ecstasy and most likely will receive probation.

Although this incident has put a small blemish on CeeLo Green's reputation, he will still have a job as a 'Voice' judge once this case is behind him. The show's executive producer, Mark Burnett, told TMZ that he will not boot him out of his judge's chair.

Green's attorney had no comment on the matter.
