Big Sean is on his way to victory, as the Detroit MC is less than a week away from dropping his first major label release, ‘Finally Famous,’ which he previewed for fans Tuesday night (June 22) at Irving Plaza in New York City.

Decked out in a red blazer and a navy blue and orange New York Knicks fitted hat, the rapper brought out several special guests including his mentor, Kanye West, who he famously rhymed for in 2005, to score his G.O.O.D. Music signing. Before Yeezy made his grand entrance on the stage, Sean welcomed rap newcomers Chiddy Bang — made up of producer Xaphoon Jones and lyricist Chiddy — to perform their collaboration ‘Too Fake’ in front of fans.

“How many of ya’ll f— with G.O.O.D. Music? For real, for real?” Big Sean asked the crowd, before Pusha T casually walked up next to him and moved into the Hit-Boy-produced ‘My God.’ Sean removed his shirt during Pusha’s set as well as grabbed a water bottle and splashed fans in the audience as he threw its contents at them.

“There was a lot of motherf—ers betting against me. There was a lot of motherf—ers who didn’t believe, looking stupid as s— now,” Sean told the booming crowd before rapping some more cuts off his new album.

Forty nine minutes into his set, the ‘My Last’ creator gave the signal for his DJ to start up Marvin Gaye’s infamous track ‘Let’s Get It On,’ then he began rhyming his next single, ‘Marvin & Chardonnay,’ as West joined alongside him, dressed in a Guns N’ Roses T-shirt. ‘Ya’ll make some noise for the motherf—ing legend Kanye West,” said Sean.

The ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’ performer took some time after spitting his verse to let the audience know he appreciated their support in regards to his protégé. “This just reminds me of when we did ‘The College Dropout’ and I just really appreciate all ya’ll coming out here and supporting Big Sean at the start of a brand new movement, ‘Finally Famous,’ G.O.O.D. Music,” he told the crowd. “It’s just so amazing for me to see this man make it to this level right here. So I just want to thank ya’ll for supporting G.O.O.D. Music. That’s it. I love you, peace.”
