Considering they've remained at the top of pop culture, in terms of musical impact and sheer relevance, it only makes sense that Beyonce and Nicki Minaj would lay claim to the song of the year, according to Time magazine: the 'Flawless' remix.

The heavily-played song appears on the 'Platinum Edition' of Beyonce's 2013 self-titled album. Although there were bigger radio hits this year, Time states the 'Flawless' remix grabbed more attention because of the two megastars collaborating.

"In a year that saw a number of high-profile female pop collaborations, 'Flawless, never topped the charts like 'Fancy,' but what it lacked in radio domination it made up for with sheer star power," the publication reports.

If you remember, the Internet went crazy back in August when the song was first released, and considering fans received no warning about the collab, it got even more attention.

Some of the other tracks on the Top 10 Best Songs list include 'Move That Dope' by Future, Pusha T, Pharrell and Casino; '2 On' by Tinashe featuring ScHoolboy Q; and 'Blockbuster Night Part 1' by Run the Jewels.
