Best Hip-Hop Video of 2015 – The Boombox Fan Choice Awards

When it comes to visuals, rappers always come correct with entertaining, cinematic clips. The nominees for the Best Hip-Hop Video of 2015 in The Boombox Fan Choice Awards deliver some of the most unique and mesmerizing efforts we've seen this year, which makes the decision-making process difficult.

Kendrick Lamar's "Alright" video is a beautifully shot black-and-white clip that ends with a shocking police shooting. J. Cole plays a slave who joins a mutiny to take down a plantation and the family that runs it in “G.O.M.D.” Then there's Vince Staples' clip, which takes place in a suburban war zone.

Kanye West goes for the less aggressive approach with his video for "Only One" starring his daughter, North. Wiz Khalifa pays tribute to the late Fast and Furious star, Paul Walker, in "See You Again." Meanwhile, Big Sean pays homage to his grandmother in "One Man Could Change the World."

However, not all the videos are serious and tug on heart strings. Macklemore and Ryan Lewis make us feel like reliving the early days of hip-hop on the city streets in the "Downtown" video while Drake showcases some laugh-inducing moves in his illuminating "Hotline Bling" visual.

Rae Sremmurd parties it up in a roller rink complete with poles in "Throw Sum Mo" while Azealia Banks strips down in the minimalist visual for "Wallace." Future also goes for a simple straight-forward performance on the streets in "Where Ya At?" Nicki Minaj and Beyonce get their BFF on and do as they damn well please in "Feeling Myself." But in Childish Gambino's "Sober," he does all he can, including dancing on some tables, to get one girl's attention.

Travis Scott parties in an abandoned trailer park while Eminem shows love to his hometown in "Detroit vs Everybody" by bringing a number of spitters including Big Sean, Danny Brown and Dej Loaf. Then there's A$AP Rocky, who seems to lose his sense of reality in "L$D."

Other nominees include Lady Leshurr' “Queen’s Speech Ep. 4,” Lil Dicky's “Save Dat Money," Hopsin's “No Words” and Tyler the Creator's “Buffalo."
