When a musical genius with a history as storied as Raphael Saadiq takes you under his wing, you've obviously got something good going for you. Adrian Marcel is lucky enough to have people like Saadiq's singing his praises, but it is by no means a glorified cosign, as Marcel continues to make good on his promise with the visuals for "5 Minutes."

The Keoni Mars-directed clip begins with the shine of a street light illuminating the singer walking to his vintage lowrider while a rap tune plays. Upon entering the car, he pulls off and the sensuous selection that is "5 Minutes" begins to play and the visual turns to black and white, which matches the mood set by the sparse sounding K-Pam-produced track perfectly.

We catch a glimpse of Marcel's love interest, to whom he has been promised that it will only take five minutes to get across town in his ride and  be in her arms. She turns on her TV and a video of Marcel appears on the screen, which she watches while yearning for his arrival. The video ends on a high note with him arriving at his lover's place and the looks on both of their faces is all we need to know. It's apparent what happens next.

Marcel has been keeping himself quite busy this year, releasing visuals for "Liar," as well as an acoustic mixtape, Fifty Shades of Adrian: Unplugged. His upcoming musical project, Weak After Next Reloaded, touches down in April so be sure to keep that on your radar.
