2 Chainz Is ‘Thankful’ for New Son Halo [PHOTO]

Congratulations are in order for 2 Chainz, who welcomed a baby boy into the world early Wednesday morning (Oct. 14).

The 38-year-old rapper shared the baby news on his Instagram page. In the black-and-white photo above, 2 Chainz introduced his newborn son, Halo, to his 1.6 million fans. “He's here and I'm thankful 10/14/15,” he wrote in the caption.

This is the “I’m Different” rapper’s first boy, who is now a little brother to 2 Chainz's two daughters, Heaven and Harmony. He's been eagerly awaiting the arrival of Halo. So much so that he even wrote a song about him for his latest mixtape, Trapavelli Tre.

2 Chainz is following in the footsteps of other rap dads this year.

Freddie Gibbs welcomed his baby girl, Irie Gibbs, in April. Macklemore became a proud papa of Sloane in May, while Fabulous and his girlfriend Emily B, welcomed their second child in June. Finally, Chance the Rapper became a first-time dad in September.

Being a dad is the ultimate gift in the world and we're sure Deuce will attest to that.
