Just days after releasing his four-song EP The Play Don’t Care Who Makes It, 2 Chainz revealed that he has a new music project in the works.

On Saturday (Feb. 17), Deuces went on his social media accounts to announce that he is working on a new album called Rap or Go to the League. But the project will be different than his 2017 full-length studio effort, Pretty Girls Like Trap Music. Judging by his video, it sounds as if the Atlanta is bringing some socially-conscious themes to the album.

2 Chainz also decided to promote his new album in a rather unique way.

"The album is kind of my version of Black Excellence," said 2 Chainz in the video above. "So it's all about share ability, it's all about marketing, it's all about next level genius ideas."

"We are one of a few people who kind of started a wave back in Atlanta scene as far as hip-hop with billboards being marketing tools," he continued. "What other better marketing tool than a floating billboard - aka a blimp."

In the caption, 2 Chainz wrote, "With the height of racial tensions across America I felt I should do my part in explaining some of the brain washing formulas used in my community. This album not only touches on those who did succeed thru entertainment but those who didn't! Welcome to Rap or Go TO THE LEAGUE!"

There's no word on when Rap or Go to the League will arrive in digital stores, but it's good to see 2 Chainz changing the game once again.

If you remember last time, the veteran rapper build a pink trap house for Pretty Girls Like Trap Music, which was later turned into a free HIV testing clinic.
