Sneaker of the Week

Nike just made the job of preparing for fall's gloomy, wet season a little easier with their winterized take on the Dunk and it’s so much of a looker that we’ve decided to make it our Sneaker of the Week.

The winner of the sneaker race this week is Jasmine Jordan, Michael Jordan's daughter. Her pair of Air Jordan 1s are so rare in fact that they deserve to be our Sneaker of the Week.

There are a handful of brands whose collaborative moxy can illicit a blind buy and one such company is BAIT. This time, they’re putting their magic touch on an Asics release that is meant to celebrate the Gel-Lyte III’s 25th Anniversary. The Nightmare sneaker is so solid that at first glance, we knew it deserved to be our Sneaker of the Week.

Sneaker of the Week is the one time where we let our unabashed love and adulation for a model assert its greatness over all other models that we’ve seen in the past seven days. This week, the iconic Nike Air Flight 89 is being placed on that pedestal with a little help of an even more iconic colorway.

Friday is a special day for several reasons but the main one around here is that it’s the day where we whittle our wonderment down to one lone pair of sneakers that represents the top of the drops aka our Sneaker of the Week. Several pairs could have fallen into the slot, but thankfully brands like Nike and runners like the Air Max lessen the burden of making a pick every time.

Our first look at Supreme’s Jordan Brand collaboration was more of a direct hit than a warning shot as it boasted an upper like nothing we’ve ever seen on the silhouette before. And that was just the beginning.

Supreme has teamed up with Jordan Brand. That’s right, your two favorite names are collaborating on a sneaker and we can already imagine the melee that will ensue upon the release.

This sneaker simply keeps finding ways to make us fall in love with it all over again and this time, it's done so by borrowing the vibe of another infamous runner. The mix of the two is absolute perfection and more than worthy of being our Sneaker of the Week.

It's not every day that you see a G.I. Joe-themed sneaker release, but our friends over at BAIT have made it happen. They've put together two toy-themed sneakers with New Balance that look good enough to have us all reliving our childhood memories in style, which isn't an easy task at all. The drop is so thorough that we've decided to make it our Sneaker of the Week.
