Street scholar and D-Block Records co-CEO Styles P is set to release his eleventh mixtape, 'The Ghost Dub-Dime,' on May 18. The first single, 'That Street Life,' is already available on iTunes and features Raleigh, North Carolina R&B singer and producer Tyler Woods. "I am staying in tune with the streets and providing bars that most rappers won't," Styles P says of the project.

Doing something else that most rappers won't, Styles recently inked a book deal with Random House, Inc. His fictional novel 'Invincible' hits stores June 1, along with the book's soundtrack, which will be sold exclusively at StylesP.net. Random House describes the novel as a "gritty tale of tough characters fighting for survival" and adds that the wordsmith "approaches storytelling with the same flair and proficiency as his talent for lyrical mastery."

Styles is currently working on a new solo album scheduled for the fall of 2010, as well as an upcoming release with longtime crew The LOX. "I'm proud to be operating as an independent where I have total control of my project," says the Queens, New York native about his relationship with E1 Music (formerly Koch Records).
