Snoop DoggWest Coast rapper Snoop Dogg has been banned from performing at a free concert in the Netherlands next weekend.

The gangsta rap legend and prominent marijuana proponent, was scheduled to rock at the Parkpop festival on June 27, in The Hague, Netherlands. According to reports, police requested that the concert's organizers find a replacement for Snoop, with only 10 day's notice, due to a protest lead by the justice ministry officials and the mayor.

"This is all very annoying that the headliner is being removed from the programme 10 days before the event," a spokeswoman for organizers said.

A statement from the mayor contends that Snoop was banned from performing at the family-oriented concert in order to promote an "open and friendly atmosphere." A replacement has yet to be announced, but really, how do you find a replacement for the Dee Ohh Double-G?
