With 14 trophies Mariah Carey has already won at the Billboard Music Awards throughout her career, the hitmaker will now be performing at this year's ceremony.

The announcement comes as she opened her Las Vegas residency, "Mariah #1 to Infinity," at the Colosseum inside Caesers Palace on last night. The singer is also getting ready to release a new compilation LP of her chart-topping hit songs on May 18, which will include her new single, "Infinity."

Sam Smtih, Kelly Clarkson, Hozier, Nick Jonas, Ed Sheeran and Van Halen are the other acts who will also be performing at the Billboard Music Awards. Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea will take the stage to perform their new collaboration, "Pretty Girls." But those aren't the only duets of the evening. Empire stars Jussie Smollett and Bryshere “Yazz” Gray will join Estelle onstage for "Conqueror," Fall Out Boy and Wiz Khalifa are joining forces, and Meghan Trainor and John Legend are performing together -- most likely their duet, "Like I'm Gonna Lose You."

50 Cent, who has won 10 Billboard Music Awards trophies, 2015 Billboard Music Award finalist Rita Ora and past Billboard Music Award winner Ne-Yo will join their fellow artists at the show as presenters.

Hosted by Ludacris and Victoria Secret model Chrissy Teigen, Legend's wife, the 2015 Billboard Music Awards telecast will air on ABC May 17.
