Kid Cudi visited 'Chelsea Lately' on Tuesday (March 4) to promote his latest album, 'Satellite Flight: The Journey to Mother Moon.' Only difference here is that host Chelsea Handler wasn’t interviewing the rapper but rather it was Oscar-nominated actress Gabourey Sidibe.

The former G.O.O.D. Music artist talked about his disdain for Hollywood parties because, according to him, "some of them just have their heads so far up their own ass." He revealed those thoughts as a result of Sidibe catching him leave an Oscar party earlier in the week -- Cudi admitted to having a panic attack when she spotted him.

The Cleveland native, whose spent the last 15 years writing raps, also explained how he became a rapper and what inspired him to create his breakout hit song 'Day N' Nite.' "It was a lonely time for me, but I used it to create and find myself as an artist," he shared.

Plus the rhymer admits what one of his early jobs was. You'll be surprised.

Sadly, Cudi didn’t get a chance to talk about his new action flick 'Need For Speed,' which races into theaters on March 15. In the meantime, his spacey new album 'Satellite Flight: Journey to Mother Moon' is currently available on iTunes.
