Kid Cudi has dropped a new video, "Frequency" from his upcoming album Passion, Pain and Demon Slayin'.

The rapper had previously said that promotions would continue for his album, although last week he checked himself into a rehab facility to deal with his continued depression and suicidal thoughts.

“The album is still on the way, I promise,” he said, adding that he squared away all of his business before he checked himself into rehab. “Love and light to everyone who has love for me and I am sorry if I let anyone down. I really am sorry. Ill be back, stronger, better. Reborn. I feel like shit, I feel so ashamed.”

As for the video, Cudi directed it himself, and in true Cudi fashion, it's dark and artistic, set between a dark forest and a club with barely visible outlines of people under dark blue, black and red lights.

"Couple girls, couple stories, and a couple shrooms/Couple girls, couple stories, and a couple shrooms/Couple clubs and I'm in the zone/Rather take the party home," Cudi raps on the dark, ambient track.

His anticipated upcoming album features an impressive roster, including Andre 3000, Pharrell Williams, Travis Scott, and Willow Smith. In the meantime, watch the video above.
