Big Sean scored a studio session with Eminem a few months before Kendrick Lamar and the Black Hippy crew rubbed elbows with him in the same location. Now the Detroit native is speaking about the memorable experience with Slim Shady.

The two rappers worked on new material, though there is no set destination where the song will end up. "You might get it from my album, you may get it for his album, you may get it a little later," Sean tells MTV.

Before Marshall Mathers and the Hall of Fame creator jumped in the booth, they shared stories about their come-up.

"We talked for a few hours before we even worked on music," he states. "I was telling him my stories like how we was performing all around downtown Detroit and [it turned out that] he was performing in the same places."

Eminem felt a connection with Sean, identifying with the very same stories he was telling. "It was funny because every story I told him about how I lost a lot of like friends, relationships and girls... and [how I've] made new friends, he was like, 'Man, it's crazy, because every story you telling me, I got the exact same story just in a different way. Real G's man, similar tales," the rhymer explained.

Hall of Fame, Big Sean's sophomore LP, is due this summer.
