DMX made his much ballyhooed appearance on Iyanla: Fix My Life over the weekend and while the show seemed to draw a lot of eyeballs, the troubled rapper claims it did little to actually help him.

"DMX agreed to be a guest on 'Iyanla: Fix My Life' with the understanding that she would be helping his relationships with his 10 children," his rep Domenick Nati of Nati Celebrity Services said in a statement (via AllHipHop). "When he arrived for the taping, most of the content was focused on his struggles with drugs and poor parenting. Iyanla did not 'fix' DMX's life just made his image worse, and does not have DMX's personal written consent to use the footage."

The show aired anyway and largely depicted X as an drug-addicted lost cause. It can be viewed in full HERE.

"I know a lot of people like DMX," Bun B wrote on Twitter. "It's sad to watch someone so talented give his life over to demons. My heart breaks for his children man."
