During the shooting, which happened while the rapper was nearby on his tour bus, 26-year-old Jowann King was shot dead and another male was injured.

On Friday (March 13), Montana said he had nothing to do with the shooting and expressed his sympathies to the victims' families.

On his Twitter page, he wrote, "My bus was located in the vicinity of the incident that took plac last night in Philadelphia. I had a peaceful concert and was not involved ... My deepest thoughts and sympathies go out to the families of the victims, as well as all of those who were affected."

According to reports, authorities are seeking information about the whereabouts of a dark, four-door sedan with tinted windows that they believe was involved in the incident.

Montana and his tour members were interviewed and are cooperating with the investigation.
