Buddies onscreen, on record and -- come next month -- onstage, Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa are hitting the road in support of 'Mac and Devin Go to High School,' the forthcoming soundtrack to their film of the same name.

The 'Mac and Devin' album drops Dec. 13, the same day Snoop and Wiz play Los Angeles, wrapping a six-city tour that begins eight days earlier in New York City.

The Cali gig will also coincide with the release of the disc's debut single, 'Young, Wild & Free,' which features vocals from Bruno Mars and production from the Smeezingtons.

Due in theaters next year, 'Mac and Devin' finds Wiz playing Devin, a high school valedictorian lacking the kind of life experience necessary to write a compelling graduation speech. Desperate for adventure, the sheltered smartypants turns to Snoop's character, 15-year senior and campus loverman Mac Johnson, who needs his diploma to win the heart of a substitute teacher. Weed jokes and life lessons seem likely to follow.

Catch Snoop and Wiz on the following dates below.

Dec. 5: Terminal 5, New York City

Dec. 6: Electric Factory, Philadelphia

Dec. 7: 9:30 Club, Washington, D.C.

Dec. 10: Tabernacle, Atlanta

Dec. 12: Warfield Theater, San Francisco

Dec. 13: Wiltern, Los Angeles
