Acclaimed crooner-songwriter Ne-Yo is opening up about the title of his long-awaited fifth album. After remaining fairly quiet about the name of the release, the 31-year-old Arkansas native announced fans can expect to refer to his forthcoming LP as 'The Cracks in Mr. Perfect.'

ThatGrapeJuice.net revealed the news after the R&B singer performed at the Michael Jackson tribute concert in Wales last weekend. Besides the title reveal, Ne-Yo also disclosed what fans can expect from the follow-up to 2010's 'Libra Scale.'

"The album is based around showing people that, though I am a 'celebrity' or 'artist,' or whatever the case may be, I'm a human being first," he shared. "You know, I feel like as an artist sometimes, you're kinda expected to be this perfect being for your fans."

He went on to explain the "perfection" requirements usually expected of him despite having the same kinds of trials and tribulations that normal people face. "You know, you're not allowed to have a bad day, you're not allowed to just not feel like smiling one day, you're not allowed to get upset, all of these things," he explained. "You have to be perfect. And, um, this album is basically showing people that I'm not. I'm not this perfect guy. I'm a human being at the end of the day."

Ne-Yo's fifth studio album is set for a 2012 debut. Currently he's crafting a mixtape with comedian Kevin Hart, titled '101.' On the personal tip, the 'Closer' creator is expecting his second child with Monyetta Shaw, the mother of his first daughter Madilyn Grace, who was born in November 2010.
