'Shooter,' 'Tie My Hands' and 'Comfortable' are examples of Lil Wayne attempting to put the break on his gritty rapping style on the previous three 'Tha Carter' albums. Just listen to the Young Money honcho admitting on the latter Babyface-feature, "My mama gonna like this one." Chances are Weezy's mama gonna love the third single off 'Tha Carter IV.' Titled 'How to Love,' it is the slowest Lil Wayne song to date.

Weezy sings -- on what could possibly be considered his first ballad -- only accompanied by a strumming acoustic guitar. Within the first 30 seconds of the track it becomes obvious that Weezy has come a long way since his "l-l-lick like a lollipop" days. A really long way.

"When you were just a youngin', your looks were so precious," he croons on 'How to Love,' channeling the female mind. "But now you're grownup, so fly it's like a blessing/ But you can't have a man look at you for five seconds, without you bein' insecure/ You never credit yourself, so when you got older/ Seems like you came back 10 times over/ And now you sittin' here in this damn corner looking through all you thoughts and lookin' over your shoulder.

The song, produced by Detail, is a surprising turn from the previous two upbeat 'Tha Carter IV' singles -- '6 Foot 7 Foot' and 'John,' and may have a little to do with his new love interest. To stream the single head over to KarenCivil.com, where it premiered earlier today (May 26).

Lil Wayne will unplug further when his taping of 'MTV Unplugged' airs on the network June 12. 'Tha Carter IV' drop on June 21.
