Jay-Z and Kanye West already switched their highly anticipated 'Watch the Throne' collaboration from an EP to a full-fledged album and are now moving where they're completing the project. The New York Post reports that Hov and Yeezy have shifted the recording of the album from the Mercer Hotel to the Tribeca Grand Hotel, both of which are in New York City.

The two rap superstars were supposedly laying down tracks until 7AM on Wednesday (May 4) night. According to the Post, the only break was when they met with Barry Weiss -- who has taken over duties as Chairman and CEO of the Island Def Jam/Universal Motown Republic Group after the recent departures of L.A. Reid and Doug Morris -- and reps from the label as well as Kid Cudi.

While Kanye is an Island Def Jam artist, Jay-Z is technically a free agent. The Brooklyn rapper-turned-mogul's last album, 'The Blueprint 3', was released on his Roc Nation label via Atlantic Records.

Putting in studio time at the Tribeca Grand should be ideal for Jigga since he has an apartment in the lower Manhattan neighborhood, where he and Beyonce got married in a not-so-secret ceremony in April 2008.

Though 'Watch the Throne' was originally intended to be released in early 2011, there is no release date for the album at this time. In a SKY Magazine cover story, Jay-Z revealed that Kanye West is partly to blame for the album's delay.
