Cee Lo Green recently teamed up with Duracell's Power Those Who Protect Us program for a special tribute to volunteer firefighters by re-recording his Grammy Award-winning track 'Forget You.' 'Thank You' was inspired by Green's personal appreciation for firefighters -- when the singer was 16 years old his mother was pulled to safety from a near-fatal car accident by local volunteer firefighters. His mom was also a volunteer firefighter herself.

The video for 'Thank You' features some of the brave men and women that protect America's homes, businesses and roadways, as the newly branded tune of 'Forget You' is heard. "As entertainers in the public light, we have a unique opportunity to raise awareness for causes close to our hearts through our greatest passion: music," Green says. "That's why I am proud to join the Power Those Who Protect Us cause, to tell my own story and shed light on the tireless sacrifices our nation's volunteers make each and every day to protect their communities."

Power Those Who Protect Us is a battery donation program that aides firehouses around the United States for out-of-pocket power expenses. Cee Lo Green's 'Thank You' is available for free download to the first 10,000 fans at Duracell's Facebook page.
