OutKast rapper Big Boi has announced a surprising collaboration with Swedish electro-soul group Little Dragon.

Considered the more conservative OutKast member, Big Boi has always been creative with his collaboration choices. Blessed with a keen ear for talent, Big Boi handpicked up-and-comers Janelle Monae -- whom he signed to his label Purple Ribbon back in 2005 -- Yelawolf and B.o.B. to appear on his solo debut, 'Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty,' alongside legends like George Clinton and Too Short.

Big Boi tweeted about his upcoming collaboration with Little Dragon on March 19, along with a photo of the ATLien hanging out with the Swedes, who were recently featured on two songs on the Gorillaz album 'Plastic Beach,' and appeared on 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon' earlier this week.

"Been workin on some new music with Little Dragon, just met for the first time...cool people" Big Boi wrote.

"Was great to meet you! Salute! lets kill some demons!" Little Dragon tweeted in response.

While very little is known about the mysterious collaboration, which likely transpired when both acts were at SXSW in Austin earlier this month, it is possible that the track will appear on Big Boi's forthcoming album, 'Daddy Fat Sax: Soul Funk Crusader.'

Little Dragon are currently working on their third album, 'Ritual Union,' due July 12. Check them out here.
