The official trailer for 50 Cent's new film 'Setup' premiered on Wednesday (March 23), confirming that A-list actor Bruce Willis has also landed a starring role in the crime thriller.

Casting for the film has been well underway since last fall. 'Fast and the Furious' actor Paul Walker was replaced by 'Cruel Intentions' star Ryan Phillippe in December, and soon after that rumors began to circulate that Bruce Willis was next to join the cast.

The storyline of 'Setup' follows a group of friends -- including 50 Cent and Phillippe -- who are caught up in the middle of a deadly diamond heist. Willis will play a villainous character who hires the duo to help him rob a bank, and things unravel quickly from there. The film is being helmed by 50 Cent's Cheetah Vision production company and was filmed in Grand Rapids, Mich.

Earlier this month, 50 Cent premiered the trailer for yet another film, 'Things Fall Apart,' a role which required him to shed approximately 54 pounds in order to portray a cancer patient. After landing a $200 million funding deal for his film company in October, the Queens rapper-turned-actor has been laser focused on the big screen.

The G-Unit Records CEO is also currently embroiled in a legal battle with his recording artist Young Buck. The label has filed a $10 million lawsuit against the Tennessee rapper in the event that he breaches contract during his ongoing bankruptcy proceedings. 50 Cent tacked on an additional $171,000 claim to the lawsuit, an amount he says is leftover from 2005 loan of $300,000.
