Three months into its release, Nicki Minaj's 'Pink Friday' debut has officially made it to the top of the Billboard charts. The album, which dropped in November, jumped to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 this week, taking an 18 percent bump after 45,000 copies sold. The sale surge is inexplicable, as Billboard mentions albums don't usually top the charts if they haven't debuted at No. 1.

The excited 26-year-old tweeted the news to her over two million followers, thanking them for their support. "We finally did it!" Minaj wrote Wednesday (Feb. 9) "PINK FRIDAY is the #1 Album in the United States of America!!!!! *faints* thank u sooooo much for the continued support!" Minaj also announced that her latest single 'Moment 4 Life,' will top the rap charts tomorrow. "Moment4Life also becomes #1 tomorrow on Billboard's Rap Chart. Thank u guys once again! (Radio, DJ's, etc.)"

Ironically the Young Money Barbie shares the chart moving accomplishment with her mentor Lil Wayne. Last year, Weezy's 'I Am Not a Human Being' digital album debuted in second place on the Billboard download charts, before dropping to No. 16 one week later. However the physical album, which dropped in October, jumped to the No. 1 spot two weeks later.

The hip-hop phenom's career continues to move forward with no signs of slowing down. Minaj's recent appearance on 'Saturday Night Live,' in which she both performed and popped up in a couple skits, garnered the sketch show some of its highest ratings of the season. Next, Minaj will present at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards which air Sunday, Feb. 13, at 8:00PM EST.
