Nicki MinajYoung Money's frontwoman Nicki Minaj is prepping the release of her debut's first single. The Harajuku Barbie recently announced the news in an interview. "The first single is called 'Massive Attack.' Sean Garrett produced that," she explained. 'It'll be out very soon. I don't have an exact date, but it will drop right on time ... We're actually shooting the video within a week."

Minaj enlisted both the help of producer Alex Da Kid and Garrett, the latter who has written for several big names including Usher, Beyonce, and Whitney Houston. The Atlanta native also collaborated with Minaj for the first single off his album 'Get It All,' and praised her unique musical persona. "Nicki is definitely a true star," he told The BoomBox. "She gets the whole package. She definitely spits fire on everything she does but at the same time she gets the whole marketing side. She sort of brands herself in a way that I think artists should. She doesn't take herself too seriously but every time you hear her music you love it."

Anticipation for Minaj's debut has been moving full-steam ahead as the Queen's born emcee continues to build her rap resume, appearing on tracks with Mariah Carey, Ludacris and her Young Money labelhead Lil Wayne. No word yet on when Minaj's debut will hit stores.
