The world's most popular Canadian, rapper Drake, appears on the cover of this month's Fader Magazine. He shares the honor with San Francisco hipsters, Girls.

The former Degrassi Junior High actor is also featured in Rolling Stone's "Artists to Watch," where he discusses his deal with Universal/Motown, which purportedly gives him creative control, ownership of his publishing and $2 Million up front. "They'll say this is the worst deal in music history as far as the label goes...probably one of the best deals for me at the moment," Drake told Rolling Stone.

Drake is currently home from the Young Money tour, recovering from torn ACL, MCL and LCL and beginning "the reflecting and soul searching that its going to take to make this album."

The mag hits newsstands nationwide on August 18.
