Suge Knight’s Death Row Record Label Sold for $24M

Suge Knight's infamous Death Row Record label was auctioned off and sold Wednesday. The label, which was once home to Tupac Shakur, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre, was sold for the low, low price of $24 million.

Global Music Group's president Susan Berg won the auction, giving her rights to all Death Row recordings, including 20 unreleased Tupac tracks. Knight was forced by a bankruptcy judge to auction off his legendary label -- and all other valuable assets -- to pay off debts. The mogul's financial trouble began in 2005 when he was ordered to cough up $107 million to former partner Lydia Harris. Harris claimed Knight owed her profits after she was forced out of the label. Knight filed for bankruptcy in 2006.
