After Gucci Mane showcased his giant ice cream facial tattoo back in January, who would've thought another rapper would follow in his footsteps? Yesterday (Feb. 22), Atlanta rhymer Yung L.A. debuted his latest ink: a red duck positioned on the left side of his face.

The 'Ain't I' creator visited Atlanta's Mardi Gras Ink to receive the duck tattoo, along with what appears to be a tear drop under his right eye. During the ink session, Yung L.A., born Leland Austin, was drinking a Styrofoam cup of purple stuff, which he dedicated to Young Money's head honcho after a few sips. "[Lil] Wayne can't do it right now," he said while shaking his cup and showing off the liquor. "I'm doing this for Wayne, baby. I got my cups up. I'm sippin' purple and I'm rockin' purple."

L.A.'s facial art is actually the logo of Atlanta-based record label Duct Tape Ent., which could be the new label the rapper has signed to. However, DTE signee Alley Boy shot down any rumors he was affiliated with the camp. "Yung La is NOT!!! DTE!!!" Alley Boy tweeted.

Besides going under the gun in the video, Yung L.A. also revealed he would be releasing a new mixtape, dropping March 15, and that he parted ways with T.I.'s imprint. "'Tattoos and Jewelry,' the most anticipated mixtape since uh, what would I want to call it, since the breakup of, you know with me not doing business with Grand Hustle anymore," he explained. "There's a lot of controversy in the streets, man."

According to the rapper, the effort will be one of the "biggest" releases, despite his keeping mum on which MCs he's calling on for collaborations.
